Aus and NZ legends collide.

More The Angels More The Angels

Aussie legends The Angels have announced a colossal line-up of shows for their newly-announced national Hardwired Tour, bringing fellow rockers Mi-Sex along for the ride this July and August.

These acts need no introduction - both have been a pivotal part of the Australian and New Zealand music scenes for the past forty years. Still going strong, The Angels continue to deny their old age with a gruelling touring schedule that has seen them hit the road continuously over the past few years - not to mention the release of their latest album Talk The Talk in 2014.

After an indefinite hiatus in 1992 following the death of singer Steve Gilpin, Mi-Sex reignited the stage at the Christchurch Quake Relief Concert, prompting the Kiwis to return to the studio to record their forthcoming 2016 album, proving that they still boast a rich vein of creative energy.

Kicking off the tour at Rooty Hill, the two veteran acts will move on to play at Revesby, Birdsville, Melbourne, Hobart, Tweed Heads, Sunshine Coast, Kingsford, Doyalson, Dunsborough, Perth, Ravenswood, Wollongong, Newcastle, Adelaide, Chelsea Heights, Doncaster, Dee Why and Wentworthville.

The Angels’ guitarist John Brewster said of the upcoming tour, "There will be two bands who are playing some old and new songs and putting on a great show."

"That is what we are both there to do and that is what we will do!"
