The Amity AfflictionTwo years on since the post-hardcore act's last record, Let The Ocean Take Me, The Amity Affliction have dropped a brand new single and video, along with details for their next offering — their fifth album, This Could Be Heartbreak.
The video for the new track, titled I Bring The Weather With Me, depicts a dark, dreary funeral scene, a great first taste of the band's next album and their quintessential melodic hardcore stylings.
This Could Be Heartbreak is due out on 12 August and was produced with the band's longtime producer Will Putney. The band have already announced a short run of Aussie east coast dates to give the new material the welcome it deserves — they head to Brisbane's The Tivoli on 19 August, Sydney's Metro Theatre on 26 August and Melbourne's 170 Russell on 31 August, all dates with Trophy Eyes.
