Having just notched their third straight Aussie #1 album with new LP, This Could Be Heartbreak, Aussie metalcore heavyweights The Amity Affliction have continued their incredible hot streak by absolutely blitzing through the US charts and posting some of their biggest placings in the country to date.
The Gympie-founded quartet's fifth record has impressively debuted on the Billboard Top 200 at #26, five places higher than their last offering, Let The Ocean Take Me, peaked at back in 2014.
But it gets even better.
This Could Be Heartbreak has also debuted at #1 on the Hard Rock Albums chart (Let The Ocean Take Me peaked at #3), #4 on the Top Rock Albums Chart, #8 on the Vinyl Albums chart, #11 on the Digital Albums Chart and #12 on the Top Album Sales chart.

The US placings come after the album peaked at #25 in Austria, #29 in Germany, #31 in Switzerland, #32 in New Zealand, #33 in Scotland and #51 in the UK.
Meanwhile fellow Aussies Thy Art Is Murder have also made some big debuts in the US with their new EP, The Depression Sessions, featuring US acts The Acacia Strain and Fit For An Autopsy.
The Sydney deathcore band's EP has debuted on the Hard Rock Albums Chart at #4, as well as #19 on the Top Rock Albums Chart.
Over on the dance charts, Victorian trio Cookin' On 3 Burners have enjoyed some nice spikes with French producer Kungs' remix of their track, This Girl.
The hugely popular song has jumped up from #7 to #8 on both the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs and Dance/Electronic Digital Songs charts, while it has made a big jump from #16 to #8 on the Dance/Electronic Streaming Songs chart.
