The Age Music Victoria Awards Locks In 2017 Date

The Age Music Victoria Awards has confirmed it will return for its 12th go-around in 2017, today announcing the date and venue for this year's event. 

The 2017 edition will take place during Melbourne Music Week on Wednesday 22 November, again at the long-standing 170 Russell.

As well as a date being confirmed, 2017 submissions for categories for Victorian artists, venues and festivals to nominate themselves or others are now open. 

To be considered eligible for submissions, at least 50% of the act has to have lived in Victoria for the past two years and released an EP or album between 1 September 2016 — 31 August 2017.
