Wow... just, wow.
Today's lesson — never mess with New Found Glory bassist Ian Grushka.
The co-founding member of the pop-punk titans joined The Music Podcast With Dave & Neil alongside frontman Jordan Pundik last week and when the topic of music festivals came up, Grushka had a story that nobody could (or would want to) top.
"We were in England and it was so hot outside," Grushka began.
"The buses there don't have generators, so we tried to turn our bus on for a while in order to get some air on the bus, because it's so hot.

"Our bus was backed up to one of those separate compounds – I think it was Weezer and someone else – and they came out and they were like, ‘Yeah, you gotta turn your bus off. The fumes are getting into our area.’
"So we did. I'm sure it was probably a crew guy or a tour manager, but I was younger and stupid and I'm like, ‘Man, this is fucking bullshit’.
"So I waited for them to go on stage and I went into their compound – they had their own private bathrooms – so, I took a bunch of toilet paper and put it over the hole and then I shit on top of the toilet paper. And then, I wiped my ass and put all the toilet paper in the garbage can next to the toilet."
If that wasn't enough, Grushka admitted that was the first time he told that story and promised to make amends next time he runs into the fellow US rockers.
"Weezer’s a fucking great band, I have nothing against them. But I definitely took a shit and, just, kinda left it," he said.
"If they’re listening, [drummer Rivers Cuomo] I'm sorry I left my shit. Next time we hang out, I'll buy you a cold water or a Coca-Cola and I'll apologise for it."
