CYRILAustralian DJ and producer CYRIL is back. He’s just released his first song of 2026, and it’s his most ambitious outing to date.
Teaming up with American rapper Wiz Khalifa, CYRIL looks to expand his foothold in Australia and Europe into the North American mainstream with the new single, That’s Her. It’s a genre-bending track that effortlessly combines the Aussie star’s signature production with Khalifa’s unmistakably slick, melodic feel.

CYRIL’s meteoric rise has seen him surpass three billion career streams, cementing him as one of the country’s most-streamed electronic artists—not just in Australia, but internationally. His breakthrough single, Stumblin’ In, has generated more than 746 million streams on Spotify, going Diamond in Australia, France and Poland, and Gold in the US and Germany.
In addition to Stumblin’ In—a reworking of the 1978 Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro hit—CYRIL has remixed Disturbed’s rendition of Simon & Garfunkel’s The Sound of Silence, and his remix of Paramore’s Still Into You was previously nominated for Song of the Year at the ARIA Awards.
Meanwhile, he’s been approved for official remixes by Ed Sheeran, Crowded House, and Teddy Swims, plus released an original track with James Blunt.
In early 2025, it was reported that CYRIL had topped Spotify’s Australian Music Global Impact List. The list featured the Top 30 tracks by Australian artists with the most significant global impact on Spotify.

CYRIL said of the achievement, “I’m incredibly honoured to have three tracks featured on the Spotify Global Impact List, including a No.1 spot, alongside so many talented artists. It makes me proud that my music can show the world that Australians aren’t here to f*** spiders.”
He continued, “I’ve always wanted to show the world just how incredible Aussie music is, so topping the Global Impact List alongside so many idols of mine is absolutely unreal. None of this would’ve been possible without the support of Spotify Australia, not just locally, but on a global scale.”
Spotify Australia Artist & Label Partnership Lead Leah Harris added, “It’s fantastic to see such an exciting up-and-coming act like CYRIL taking out the #1 spot after having a breakout 2024 both locally and abroad. The latest edition of the list demonstrates that both established and emerging acts are building overseas audiences through Spotify, a crucial part of building sustainable careers in music.”
