After a successful comeback at last year’s Froth & Fury festival, Adelaide nu-metal band Testeagles are once again embarking on a full-blown national tour.
Celebrating 25 years of their monstrous debut album, Non Comprehendus, Testeagles will hit venues across the country this October and November.
Following its release, the album peaked at #8 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Their song Turn That Shit Up landed at #66 on the triple j Hottest 100 in 1999, and the band were virtually inescapable, appearing on music television programs and regularly taking the stage on Big Day Out line-ups until 2005.
The tour begins at the Gold Coast’s Mo’s Desert Clubhouse on Thursday, 9 October. It continues at Adelaide’s The Gov on Thursday, 30 October, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Monday, 3 November, Sydney’s Factory Theatre on Thursday, 6 November, and ends at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Thursday, 13 November.
Pre-sale tickets will be available at 9:00 a.m. AEST on Wednesday, 30 July, followed by the general sale on Thursday, 31 July, at 9:00 a.m. AEST. You can find more ticketing information on the Teamwrk Touring website.
Testeagles reunited on stage for the first time in seventeen years last year at Adelaide’s Froth & Fury festival. The explosive fan reaction and the band’s feelings on stage took them from a one-off reformation to planning a full-scale comeback tour.

However, the band’s reunion tour hasn’t all been flowers and rainbows. Bassist ‘D’ has faced significant health battles, including the experience of a pulmonary embolism, pneumonia, diabetes, and a week-long medically induced coma.
He recalled being “really sick”, and after losing his leg, D now has a prosthetic leg. Despite all the health challenges, D returned with his bandmates last year for Froth & Fury festival, and returns once more for the Non Comprehendus 25th anniversary tour.
For the band’s upcoming tour, Testeagles will be joined by special guests Bushido on all dates aside from the Gold Coast show. Another recently reformed band, Bushido have been busy releasing impressive new singles, getting the pit ready for tons of excitement.
