Television To Play Marquee Moon At Melbourne’s Release The Bats ATP

The protopunk legends lead the second announcement for the October festival.

More Television Television

The second announcement for All Tomorrows Parties' big Release The Bats event happening just outside of Melbourne this October has been announced this morning, with the legendary Television topping the bill, playing their hugely seminal (we're allowed to use that word in this case) Marquee Moon LP in full!

Go on, listen to all 11 minutes of it
!

This will be Television's only Victorian show and will be the only show on the Australian tour that sees them playing their brilliant 1977 debut album in full.

Other acts on the bill include the critically adored and very young American producer Balam Acab and a tribute to the late, great Rowland S. Howard being put together by the excellent Mick Harvey.

You can check out the massive first announcement, featuring The Breeders, The Jesus Lizard, Sleep and a whole stack more right here.

The show will take place at The Westgate Entertainment Centre and Grand Star Receptions in Altona, 13 kilometres outside of Melbourne, on Saturday 26 October, 2013.
