The Canadian twins are just too popular.

More Tegan & Sara More Tegan & Sara

Due to popular demand, Canadian twins Tegan & Sara have added a second Sydney Opera House concert to their schedule, the duo hitting Aussie shores in late-April  to share their new electro material from new record Heartthrob, which is already causing a fuzz on the ARIA charts.

The concert, which is planned for Friday 26 April, is a part of the Opera House's Music at the House contemporary music program, seeing acts like the recent Sarah Blasko concert, Neil Finn and Paul Kelly, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and more hit the Concert Hall stage.

Selling over 1 million records in their fourteen year career, Tegan & Sara gained worldwide attention with their 2007 record The Con, which garnered them a place as “one of the best albums of the year” from the New York Times.

Heartthrob was released early this month, and was the band's first full length release in nearly four years, Sainthood hitting shelves late-2009, and the band selling out performances worldwide and touring alongside The Killers and Neil Young, cementing themselves as one of Canada's brightest song-writing teams.
