One of the country’s largest promoters has announced a huge Australian bushfire relief show.
TEG Dainty and TEG Live have confirmed that the Fire Fight Australia benefit concert will take place at ANZ Stadium on 16 February, teasing “a stellar line-up of major international and local artists” that will be announced in the coming weeks.
“This national initiative will raise money for relief from the bushfires that continue to devastate communities and challenge emergency services in rural and regional Australia,” reads a statement from TEG.
“This is a major musical event which will see globally renowned artists from Australia and around the world come together to perform and show solidarity with people whose lives have been disrupted by the bushfires.”
While no artists have been announced yet, Queen legend Brian May has confirmed the band are in talks to perform at a newly-announced bushfire benefit stadium show next month.

Additionally, Aussie heavyweights Hilltop Hoods tweeted just hours after the concert announcement that "in February we will also be taking part in a massive bushfire fundraising concert in Sydney".
