Taylor SwiftFollowing the long lawsuit between Taylor Swift and a Denver radio DJ she alleges groped her at a concert meet-and-greet in 2013, the pop star's deposition statements have come to light today, in which she states KYGO Radio employee David Mueller made her feel "violated in a way I had never experienced before".
As Billboard reports, in the deposition Swift alleges, "Right as the moment came for us to pose for the photo, he took his hand and put it up my dress and grabbed onto my ass cheek and no matter how much I scooted over it was still there.
"It was completely intentional, I've never been so sure of anything in my life," alleged Swift.
After Swift sued Mueller for the incident, Mueller lost his job and counter-sued Swift for slander, stating that his former boss was the one who groped her. Swift counter-sued Mueller for assault and battery and stated she would donate any money won from the lawsuit to charities that protect women from sexual assault.
Swift also states in the deposition, "I remember being frantic, distressed, feeling violated in a way I had never experienced before … A meet-and-greet is supposed to be a situation where you’re thanking people for coming, you’re supposed to be welcoming people into your home, which is the arena for that day, and for someone to violate that hospitality in that way, I was completely stunned."
The comments come from a videotaped deposition with Swift that the court has released publicly, though a photo of the DJ allegedly groping Swift has been kept from the public. Swift's lawyers argued that the photo would "be shared for scandalous and prurient interests".
