Country/pop superstar Taylor Swift has confirmed the dates and venues for her 2015 Australian tour.

The singer-songwriter, as revealed a few weeks ago, will visit the country at the end of '15 as part of her The 1989 World Tour, playing stadium shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne in November/December.

Just like he will on the North American leg of Swift's tour, Aussie singer-songwriter Vance Joy will act as the main support at each of the local shows.

Tickets for the Australian tour go on sale Friday 12 December, with all the details in theGuide and The Music App.

Swift's latest album 1989 is still sitting nicely at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart.
