Taste The Happy, Internet - New 'Arrested Development' Season "Close"

FINALLY.

A fifth season of the widely-acclaimed US comedy, Arrested Development, has been talked about basically ever since the fourth season screened on Netflix back in 2013, but it finally looks like the talk is over.

As Deadline reports, the biggest hurdle in making a fifth season happen is getting the ensemble cast together, which features big names like Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Wil Arnett, Portia De Rossi and Jeffrey Tambor, due to other engagements.

"We are close," the show's executive producer, Brian Grazer, said.

"I think we found a way to create the compensation structure for all the actors and create a work matrix so they can still make movies and do other things and it will all integrate.

"So we are really close — I think within a couple of weeks at the most."

Grazer declined to comment on details for the new season, a year after he reportedly said the series would pan out as a murder mystery, in the same spirit as the then-hugely popular Making A Murderer.
