More Tash Sultana More Tash Sultana

Just three years ago Tash Sultana was busking on the streets of Melbourne. Fast forward to 2019 and the acclaimed Australian songwriter is set to perform at one of the most iconic venues in the US.

Sultana has today announced she'll perform at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre on 25 September, which has previously hosted sets from the likes of The Beatles, U2, Stevie Nicks, Coldplay and Neil Young.

“There’s this space that not everyone ever gets to visit and not everyone gets to play at. The fact that I get to do my own headline show here when so many other amazing artists have played here before me just completely blows my mind," Sultana said.

"Aussie artists dream of playing shows around the world and kind of breaking into America so to have this overwhelming support in a country so far from home is incredible.

"Being able to announce your own Red Rocks show at 23 is something I'll be able to look back on and be very proud of.”

The announcement comes as Sultana gears up for a US tour in support of the 2018-released debut album, Flow State. The gig is a massive get for the multi-instrumentalist who has already garnered over 500 million streams and topped multiple iTunes list globally, as well as winning the Blues & Roots Album of the Year award at last year's ARIAs.

Before heading to the States, Sultana will play a string of headline shows throughout Australia starting next week with special guests, Ocean Alley.
