More Tame Impala More Tame Impala

It’s only February and we already have our second Australian #1 album of the year, thanks to Tame Impala.

The latest album from Perth psych-rock maestro Kevin Parker, The Slow Rush (our pick for Album Of The Week), has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums chart, marking Tame Impala’s second straight #1 Aussie album following 2015's Currents. Over in the UK, The Slow Rush has debuted at #3.

Parker blocked Justin Bieber's Changes from the top spot, with the latest album from the Canadian singer debuting at #2. Check out our track by track review of Changes here.

As expected, following last weekend's huge Fire Fight Australia event and Queen's current Australian stadium tour, the soundtrack to 2018's Bohemian Rhapsody climbed back into the top ten, landing at #7 after placing at #15 last week.

The iconic English rockers have also had two best-of compilations re-enter the chart (Greatest Hits at #18 and The Platinum Collection at #35), while albums from Hilltop Hoods and Conrad Sewell have also re-entered the Albums chart following Fire Fight Australia.

Over on the Singles chart, Billie Eilish's new James Bond theme song, No Time To Die, has debuted at #4, while Bieber's Forever featuring Post Malone and Clever debuts at #29, followed by Sam Smith's To Die For (#32) and Surfaces' Sunday Best (#36).
