Set to kick off in only a few weeks, Tame Impala’s massive Australian tour has been postponed.

Rescheduled dates have been confirmed for later this year, with organisers stating the April shows “are no longer able to go ahead due to the current COVID-19 crisis and subsequent Government directives”.

Perth psych rock juggernaut Kevin Parker will take Tame Impala’s acclaimed new LP The Slow Rush (The Music’s Album Of The Week upon release) on the road in December, still taking in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Unfortunately, Houston outfit Khruangbin are no long able to make the rescheduled dates, but a replacement support will be announced “in the near future”.

Earlier this month, Tame Impala’s 2015 single The Less I Know The Better was crowned the Hottest 100 Of The Decade, which saw it burst back into the ARIA Singles chart last weekend.
