'Rock Or Bust' lands in top three
The new album from Australian rock legends AC/DC has failed to debut at the top of the UK Charts, with English pop group Take That beating them to number one.
AC/DC's Rock Or Bust landed at three, behind Take That's IIII and Ed Sheeran's x, which has been in the UK Albums Chart Top 100 for 24 weeks now. UK midweek figures did have the iconic outfit on track for a number two finish.
AC/DC's Scottish roots and international appeal have generally seen them debut at the top of the UK Charts in previous years, including their 2008 studio LP Black Ice, which went number one all around the world upon its release. This is the 18th time the band have cracked the UK Top 40 though.
Rock Or Bust landed at number one in the ARIA Albums Chart over the weekend.
