"I kissed T.I. on the cheek. And he punched me in the face for it! It’s like, fully fine."
The Chainsmokers are again the subject of a hilarious headline, with the duo taking to TikTok to reveal their close meeting with T.I.
The singer of the electronic producer do Drew Taggart stated that, “T.I. just literally punched me in the face, we’re in a vibe and I, like, gave him a kiss on the cheek. It was totally my fault.”
Taggart stated that the rapper quickly moved on and they aren't in bad blood with him. He concluded by saying, “First of all, T.I.’s fully in the right here. I was feeling the vibes way too hard and I kissed T.I. on the cheek. And he punched me in the face for it! It’s like, fully fine."
T.I has since commented on the incident stating that “They make great music. I think the important thing to take away is that afterwards, we had a drink, we took a shot, you know what I’m saying? And we moved on."
@thechainsmokers My bad T.I. won’t happen again… unless?

While an impromptu kiss is totally out of line, T.I. has made headlines for being homophobic in the past. After DaBaby's homophobic comments on stage at Rolling Loud festival, T.I. thought it was a good opportunity to criticise Lil Nas X and support DaBaby.
He said, “For instance, the Lil Nas X shit. The performances and video, man I got a lot of respect for bruh because he had the courage to live his truth, but that shit ain’t for me… Just can’t look at it… And I don’t want my children seeing it, either,
“If you have a Lil Nas X video, and him living his truth, you gone damn sure have people like DaBaby who are going to speak they truth. There ain’t nothing wrong with none of that. It ain’t got to be no hate, it’s all honesty."
