And they’ve got quite a few things going for them at the moment
Following the success of single Real Life, Sydney hip hop outfit Mind Over Matter have released the second single from their forthcoming third record, strengthening the buzz already surrounding the duo so far in 2013.
The tune, titled Somebody's Love, was dropped today in the wake of the extreme success of Real Life, the first offering topping the charts for highest selling Aussie hip hop song two weeks running, and peaking at #8 on the iTunes hip hop charts.
With guest vocals from longtime collaborator Ernst Carter Jnr, the playful song may be set to follow the path of it predecessor. You be the judge.
Mind Over Matter, made up of MCs Willow and Smiles Again, are set to release the new full length This Way To Elsewhere later this year after collaborating with some of the best in the business, the outfit venturing to Chicago to work with Grammy-winning mixer Craig Bauer, who has mixed for the liked of Kanye West and Jay Z.
Additionally, the album is produced by One Above who is known for producing successful home-grown hip hop tunes I Love It by Hilltop Hoods and Chance Waters' Young and Dumb.
The news just keeps getting better for the boys from Sydney, recently signing a licensing deal that is set to be announced next week and are ion preparation for a national tour in celebration of Somebody's Love.
This Way To Elsewhere will hit shelves this October.
