'On The Steps' forms part of the iconic venue's 2014-15 summer line-up
The Sydney Opera House has expanded its epic 2014-15 summer line-up even further with the unveiling of On The Steps, a new outdoor concert series set to kick off in late February.
The On The Steps program will boast up to six concerts, tailored to a "diverse range of family, youth and adult audiences", held in the Opera House Forecourt. The new concert series announcement comes hot on the heels of the venue's revelation of its jaw-dropping Music At The House summer program early last week.
Artists in the pipeline for On The Steps are yet to be announced, but Opera House chief executive Louise Herron AM is confident in the series' prospects.
"From December to March, the Opera House will again be transformed into the ultimate summer destination, with something for everyone," she said in a statement. "The On The Steps concerts will help make the Opera House precinct dynamic and fun this summer for both children and adults."
