Syd Music Photographer Rod Hunt Locks In 'Portraits, Pits & Punks' Exhibit

Get down if you wanna see some epic live music shots

Sydney music shooter Rod Hunt has announced that 25 years on, he's hosting his first major solo exhibition titled Portraits, Pits & Punks.

Having shot for us in the good old days of Drum Media, Hunt is now highly sought after, having photographed everyone from Dallas Green and Slipknot's Corey Taylor to Parkway Drive, The Used, Fall Out Boy and Against Me!.

He's also traipsed the photo pits of festivals like Big Day Out, Soundwave, Bluesfest, Splendour and All Tomorrow's Parties.

Portraits, Pits & Punks will feature legendary music photographer Tony Mott as guest speaker on opening night. The exhibition is open from 16 to 26 February at the Chrissie Cotter Gallery in Sydney.

To get you amped, we thought we'd give you a sneak peek of some of Hunt's work. Check them out below.
