Across 133 events, including 33 world premieres and 52 new commissions – over 25 days, Sydney will burst to life with activity across January with the return of Sydney Festival.
The events span main stage gigs for 12,000 attendees to intricate musical moments within the city’s waterways, showcasing a diverse line-up of Australia’s finest musicians, comedians and voices of the future.
Punters can look forward to witnessing the last hurrah with the almighty Cat Empire on 21 Jan in Parramatta Park, who will be performing one final show with their all original line-up.
The Teskey Brothers have re-imagined their beloved catalogue to perform with Orchestra Victoria at the International Convention Centre on 15 Jan.
One of Sydney’s most iconic pool locations, the Andrew (Boy) Charlton, will be sound tracked by critically acclaimed UK producer Leon Vynehall between the 06 and 09 January.
Artists such as Amyl and The Sniffers, King Stingray, Jaguar Jonze, B Wise and Friends, Tropical Fuck Storm, Hope D, Barkaa, Gordi, and many more will be performing across venues in Greater Sydney across the month.
