Sydney Community Cup Details Confirmed

Details of the second ever Sydney instalment of the Reclink Community Cup have been locked in this afternoon, with Marrickville's Henson Park the location for this year's Aussie Rules and music extravaganza, set to take place on Sunday 25 August.

Its first year got the Sydney music community talking as the media-heavy Sydney Sailors defeated the rockstar Western Walers by nine points, but there'll no doubt be revenge sought when the two teams hit the park for the 2013 match.

Entry is just a gold coin donation and all funds raised go to Reclink, an organisation that looks to provide sport and arts programs to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage. The game is modelled on the Melbourne Community Cup clash which, this year, raised upwards of $100,000 for the organisation.

Gates open at 1pm with the first bounce at 2pm.
