Sydney Artist Iluka Announces New Single ‘Closer To You’

Emerging Sydney artist Iluka will unveil a “new and exciting” sound next month with her latest single, Closer To You.

After touring with The Rubens and supporting the likes of Alex Lahey and Lime Cordiale in recent months, the singer-songwriter and her band hit the studio with The Preatures’ Jack Moffit and Closer To You is an exciting taste of what’s the come.

“I wrote the song about the explosiveness of love - the desire, the intoxication, the sweetness, the craziness, the uncertainty, the ecstasy... it’s all a part of it, right?” Iluka said.

“That’s why we’re all so damn addicted to it.”

The new song is official on March 15, with a hometown launch booked at Kings Cross Hotel the following week.
