The Toowoomba-bred five-piece have lined up six shows early next year
Rising alt-rock quintet Interim are making sure to get the new year off to a running start with a series of shows in the east and south of the country in January.
Coming off the back of two DIY self-released EPs and a fresh burst of renown from Moshcam's New Noise 2016 program, Interim will start the tour in their adopted home of Sydney, at Frankie's Pizza by the Slice. From there, they'll hit Melbourne and Adelaide before heading northwards to Brisbane, their old stomping ground of Toowoomba, and the ol' Norville Pool in Bundaberg.
Following their successful debut national tour last year, the band spent much of this year writing and road-testing their impending debut album, which will see release in the new year gradually — they put a lot of time and love into this thing, so they'll be putting it out as a new video clip and single every month till its all done and in your hands.
The album was recorded over nearly two weeks at Brisbane's Airlock Studios with veteran producer Yanto Browning (Art Of Sleeping, The Jungle Giants, The Belligerents), and it promises to be a fine meld of all the grungy, bluesy, rocky elements that create the Interim sound.
