People are calling the businessman who leads a lavish lifestyle "greedy"
Following backlash yesterday, prominent Sydney DJ and clothing designer Dan Single has pulled his GoFundMe page offline, which was aiming to raise a whopping $250,000 to fund his hospital bills following a three-storey fall from a Paris hotel balcony.
The page is no longer available at time of writing and instead goes straight to the GoFundMe homepage. While it was online, the GoFundMe only raised roughly $500 of its $250,000 goal.
Yesterday, a number of people donated as low as $5 just to accuse Single of being "greedy" and "hedonistic" given that he has three businesses and a successful career as a DJ as part of Sydney collective Bang Gang.
Some also referenced his penchant for designer goods, flying first class and going on extravagant holidays, which he and model wife Bambi Northwood-Blythe post regularly about on social media.

"How come you can fund partying, drinking and overseas trips but not your own recovery? Not content with a fundraiser ball, you now want to scrounge from the general public?", one anonymous donation questioned.
Last month, Single fell from a hotel balcony in Paris and broke "every bone from [his] feet to [his] hips and pelvis". He wrote on the GoFundMe page that he had undertaken eight operations and had been in a coma for two weeks.
Yesterday, Single's agent was unable to confirm to Fairfax that the GoFundMe page was authentic.
