More Sweet Jean More Sweet Jean

Indie two-piece Sweet Jean are set to release their new album Dear Departure on Thursday 4 July and will be taking their new songs around the country on a national tour that same month.

Hailing from Melbourne and made up of collaborating songwriters Sime Nugent and Alice Keath, Sweet Jean have racked up a bit of buzz leading up to this release, earning some big reps from press and the legendary Australian songwriter Paul Kelly, who said 'this record deserves to be heard far and wide'.

To bring their themes of love, loss and mortality to life on tape, Sweet Jean co-produced Dear Departure with John Castle, who has previously worked with Washington, The Drones, The Bamboos and Vance Joy.
