You can get reacquainted via their new single video, too

Exceedingly good news for fans of enigmatic European dream-poppers jj today, as the elusive pair stepped back into the spotlight to announce the impending release of their forthcoming third studio full-length, V.

Four years after the release of their sophomore effort jj n° 3, the pairing of Erin Kastlander and Joakim Benon will drop the album on Friday, August 18, via Inertia.

According to the members, V possesses a coherence that transcends anything found on their earlier works, the 12-track record straddling the divide between thoughtful composition and pop-savvy sensibilities a coherent album unlike anything they've previously issued.

The duo have unveiled the first tastes of what the faithful can expect when the album does finally drop, in the form of their cinematic clip for new single All White Everything, which you can get acquaint yourself with below:

Having formed in 2009, jj quickly ascended to the upper echelons of the world buzz-band standings off the back of their debut single jj n° 1 and a series of excellent covers -- including Akon's Troublemaker, Jeremih's Birthday Sex and the theme from Welcome Back, Kotter.

Their song My Life, taken from jj n° 3, was featured on the soundtrack for overwhelmingly popular war shooter Battlefield 3, and the pair have also previously collaborated with the likes of Ne-Yo and Adrian Lux.

Keep an eye on the jj and Inertia Facebook pages for more information as the release draws nearer.
