Wehrmacht and Primate are also locked in
Australian thrash fans better prepare themselves for a thrashing in January when Grave, Wehrmacht and Primate come to our shores early next year.
Grave, hailing from Stockholm, Sweden will bring their unforgiving death metal to Australia for the second time in 12 months after visiting us in March this year. They are coming back to melt our faces off with release of their brand new EP Venial Sins. With them, they bring Portland thrash legends Wehrmacht, who grace our shores for the first time and punk/hardcore outfit Primate from Atlanta.
Wehrmacht are one of the pioneers of extremely fast thrash/crossover bands, who reunited in 2009 after a 20 year hiatus. Playing with the likes of Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies and Death Angel in their prime, they are back with an unstoppable force to melt Aussie fans faces off.
Rounding out this thrashfest is Primate, made up of Bill Kelliher of Mastodon and Kevin Sharp of Brutal Truth. Their debut album Draw Back A Stump is out now on Relapse Records, and this is also a debut visit to Down Under for the punk/hardcore quintet.
