Happening this February.
Much-loved Aussie group Sunnyboys are set to celebrate their 40th anniversary with a run of shows in 2020, as well as the release of a new LP.
The release, dubbed Sunnyboys 40, includes the original version of their best-known hit Alone With You, plus four new recordings straight from frontman Jeremy Oxley’s archives.
"You can’t keep a good band down," said Oxley. "These new and revitalised songs take it back to the reason behind the band in the first instance.
"The 40 years in between is nicely depicted in the change in voice while the energy and craftsmanship is still there in the sound, albeit a little fuller and rounder. I guess, it’s just like us too really…"
In addition to the release of Sunnyboys 40, the band will be heading out for a run of East Coast dates throughout February 2020.
