Subsonic Music Festival Adds 150+ Artists To Stacked Lineup

Subsonic Music Festival is set to make a grand return in 2024 with a lineup that promises to eclipse its previous iterations, with over 150+ new acts now joining the already massive line-up/

After a four-year hiatus, the festival is set to reignite the spark from December 8-10 in the picturesque Barrington Tops region, offering three days packed with music, art, and communal revelry.

Leading the charge of the newly announced acts are UK’s DJ maestro Alec Falconer, the old-school house vibes of L.A.’s MEZ, and the French underground phenom rRoxymore.

These international sensations are joining an already stellar cast of headliners including Crooked Colours, BARKAA, Youngr, Haiku Hands, and JessB.

The festival is not just an international affair; it boasts a massive selection of over 150 local DJs. Scene stalwarts Phil Smart and Simon Caldwell are set to grace the decks, alongside a cavalcade of Australia’s finest such as Gabby, Rabbit Taxi, Tristan Case, Elijah Something, Jake Hough, U-Khan, and a whole heap of others.

Subsonic’s return to Riverwood Downs is a homecoming to a venue that marries natural beauty with eco-conscious living.

The stunning venue will be transformed into a canvas of creativity, with captivating stage designs by Fulcrum Designs, Conspiracy, Soluna, and more. Murals will adorn the landscape, infusing every corner with vibrant and immersive artistry, while a special chill-out area, The Alchemist Lounge, will set the scene with the best downtempo and ambient sounds around.

Beyond the music, Subsonic offers experiences such as the market village, where explorers can discover handmade wares and delicious food - or participate in workshops at the Lifestyle Village, led by Mimi Elashiry, which will offer everything from dance sessions to breathwork and more.

True to Subsonic’s spirit, the festival’s most cherished tradition remains – unwinding by the serene Karuah River, a perfect respite from the pulsating energy of the festival.

Accommodation options are as diverse as the lineup, with luxury glamping, traditional camping, and bunkhouse packages available, catering to all preferences for comfort and experience.
