Streaming: Deezer Partners With Soundwave, Guvera Reveals Figures

Services make their moves in busy market

Music streaming services continue to make inroads into the Australian markets, with Deezer partnering with Soundwave and Guvera releasing initial user figures for its mobile application.

Deezer announced today that they will be presenting this year's SoundwaveTV content, which will feature backstage interviews and other footage. The launch video is available below this story.

In other music streaming news, the recently re-launched Guvera have claimed strong initial figures today, with a representative for the service claiming that they have had over 190,000 installs in the first two months. The team – including new Australian General Manager Scott Hamilton – are confident that they will reach the golden 'one million users' target by the end of the year.

It has been a busy year for streaming services in Australia as the battle for market share intensifies amidst an influx of services.
