The record is out tomorrow but you can hear it on theMusic right now.
Things were apparently pretty tough in the world of The Civil Wars after their seemingly instant runaway success in 2011 and 2012.
The duo's debut LP Barton Hollow made a real connection with people all around the world; they won Grammy Awards, they played all sorts of shows all around the world but were so exhausted, homesick and unhappy working with each other that they had to cancel all activity just before coming out to Australia.
Between August of 2012 and January of 2013, the duo still managed to write a bunch of songs and lay them down with the help of producer Charlie Peacock and now they are all ready for release. We can give you a sneaky listen before the record hits shelves tomorrow, however.

There has been no word as to whether the duo will continue to play shows, but considering they have stated their differences are “irreconcilable”, we're not exactly holding out hope. At least we have the music.
