“It's Such A Trap”: Meg Mac Refuses To Be Another Tragic Tale On 'It's My Party'

Watch BIGSOUND's 'Making Records That Matter' Panel

Featuring Jeff Martin, Ed Kuepper, Scott Horscroft and more

Yesterday Nick DiDia (producer), Scott Horscroft (EMI), Ed Kuepper (artist), Jeff Martin (artist) and Steven Schram (producer) discussed the importance of making records 'that matter' at a BIGSOUND panel facilitated by Time Off's Steve Bell.

Perhaps understandably, The Beatles were the artist most mentioned and Martin credited George Harrison's Within You Without You as the song that inspired his lifelong fascination with world music, while Kuepper said it was Love Me Do that made him decide to become a musician with I Am The Walrus blowing his mind as a kid (he was also a big fan of the Monkees).

Ed Kuepper added, “Don't listen to Spotify”.

You can now watch the whole panel online, below.
