Strawberry Fields Announces New 2015 Venue

23 October 2015 | 11:55 am | Staff Writer

The annual festival returns next month

Beloved annual boutique festival Strawberry Fields has spent the past four years bring joy and activity to a patch of 'wild bush' just outside the NSW town of Tocumwal, but this year things will be a little different as organisers announce a move this year — just down the road — to a new, larger venue.

The fresh space promises "a huge stretch of direct river frontage" to the Murray River, with campers now able to choose between "the expansive and grassy" Southern Savannah or "wilder bushland" of the Northern Forests. In other words — as you can see in the below video, with your adorable canine tour guide — Strawberry Fields is offering up wild, open plains, all-day swimming, and a general air of freedom to keep punters tethered as loosely to the outside world as possible.

This year's Strawberry Fields event runs from 20-22 November in Tocumwal and boasts an esteemed line-up of acts populated by the likes of Booka Shade, Andras, CC Disco, Cobblestone Jazz, Bicep, Human Movement, Justin Martin, Desmond Cheese, LUCIANBLOMKAMP, Oliver Huntemann, Mood Machine, Shigeto, Perfect Stranger, Tensnake, Willow Beats and many more.
