Sticky Fingers Evicted From Venue For 'Childish' Behaviour

New South Welsh rock outfit Sticky Fingers have found themselves persona non grata at Wagga Wagga pub the Union Club Hotel after a gig at the venue this past weekend ended with the band's expulsion from the premises.

Among the list of "childish", "disgusting" and "unprofessional" behaviour allegedly perpetrated by the band's members include acts such as arriving to the performance behind schedule, urinating on a balcony, abusing security and destruction of sound equipment. The band were evicted immediately after their hour-long performance, according to reports.

"They thought they weren't in the wrong and they could do what they wanted," venue manager Josh Bradley said. "It was plainly disgusting, childish and unprofessional."

"They will definitely not get a gig back here again," he added.

The gig, which had been heavily promoted via the venue's social media accounts in the weeks leading up to the launch of its Balcony Beats music program, was staged in collaboration with "social music" app PopUpGigs, a representative for whom also expressed disappointment in the turn of events.

"Obviously we want everyone to have a good time. We want to bring people together to enjoy good live music," developer Tolsa Harrison said. "The venue put a lot of faith in us. I feel awful about the stuff that happened because it should be about creating good live music."

At the time of writing, neither the band nor venue has commented further on the incident.

This isn't the first raucous episode that has encircled the band, who have enjoyed an incredibly successful year following the release of their recent album Land Of Pleasure. Frontman Dylan Frost recently pleaded guilty to high-range drink driving, in Burwood Local Court, as well as last year being arrested at, and asked to leave, Rottnest Island's Rottofest following an altercation with security that ended in police involvement.
