Steve Parkin Ends Gig Hiatus With Clancy's Canning Bridge Residency

He's back!

It’s been one year since revered WA singer-songwriter Steve Parkin went on an indefinite hiatus with his solo career, but the prolific artist returns to the stage this month, signing on for a residency at Clancy’s Canning Bridge.

The Perth rockers will play the intimate venue every Friday in July from 7.30pm.

Parker has spent the past few years working on Fremantle-based The Newport Record Club, which sees a new match of local musos join forces each week to cover iconic albums at Newport Hotel. The latest round of gigs have recently been revealed, featuring music from Prince, The Eagles, John Lennon and more.

You can find all the details of Parker’s residency in theGuide and more info on The Newport Record Club via their Facebook.
