Festival dates announced
Arguably Australia's biggest music festival, Stereosonic has announced this evening that it is expanding to the two-day event.
Announcing their dates via social media, a representative for the festival told theMusic this evening that more information was “coming soon”.
It will be the fifth anniversary of the event.
Further information has emerged Monday morning, with the festival organisers confirming that punters will buy a two-day ticket this year which provides access to both days. As a result ticket prices have been raised to $199.95. There will not be a camping element.

Festival Promoter and a Director of Totem Onelove, Richie McNeill said, “We wanted to reward our patrons for their support, feedback and loyalty. What better way to do this than expand our festival and cement Stereosonic, and Australia as a leader in dance music. We are pushing the envelope. Stereosonic fans will experience the greatest EDM lineup Australia has ever seen.”
The line-up will be announced Thursday 4 July with tickets on sale Thursday 1 August.

Saturday 30 November/Sunday 1 December – Sydney Showgrounds, Sydney
Saturday 30 November/Sunday 1 December – Claremont Showgrounds, Perth
Friday 6/Saturday 7 December – Ellis Park, Adelaide
Saturday 7/ Sunday 8 December – Royal Melbourne Showgrounds, Melbourne
Saturday 7/ Sunday 8 December – RNA Showgrounds, Brisbane
