The Welsh dudes come armed with songs from album number eight as well as their slew of hits.

More Stereophonics More Stereophonics

Stereophonics are one of the most popular bands to ever emerge from Wales; their brand of alternative rock adored by millions across the world over the past couple of decades, including in Australia. The band have today announced they're finally on their way back out here, playing three east coast dates in July.

Their eighth studio album Graffiti On The Train was released a couple of months back and has already sold a whole stack of copies, proving that the band are still a big deal for a lot of people. Frontman Kelly Jones and bassist Richard Jones (they're not related) are the only remaining original members, but the band are still churning out the same kind of rock music that has made them so popular with the general public over the years. To quote our reviewer, the latest album has them "doing what they do best".

We are confident there will be plenty of interest in the band's first Aussie shows in three years; dates are as follows and tickets are on sale from Friday morning onwards.

Thursday 18 July– Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Friday 19 July– The Hi-Fi, Brisbane
Sunday 21 July – The Palace, Melbourne
