The 'Heavy Metal Rules' tour will kick off next October.
US hair-metal merchants Steel Panther have announced a string of Aussie shows set to take place next year.
The Heavy Metal Rules Tour - originally planned for 2020 - will now head off in October next year, and will see the band travelling around Aus and NZ alongside Atlanta heavy rock outfit Sevendust.
The joint show show has been in development for over 18 months, but has been consistently pushed back due to the pandemic. Further complications developed earlier this year owing to the departure of Steel Panther bassist Lexxi Foxx from the band.
The two groups will kick off the tour in Auckland on 17 October 2022. From there, they'll go to Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane, before finishing up in Melbourne.
The Brissy leg of the tour will hit up Eatons Hill Hotel for an outdoor mini-festival, and will also see local acts Dead Letter Circus, Lagerstein, Bare Bones and New Zealand outfit Devilskin all joining the proceedings.
