More Steel Panther More Steel Panther

Internationally renowned glam rockers and professional bandana-wearers Steel Panther have announced the release of Live From Lexxi’s Mom’s Garage, the band’s first full-length film and latest live recording.

The new release will feature a 10-song live acoustic concert filmed in what can surely only be termed the largest garage in the northern hemisphere, owned by bassist Lexxi’s Foxx’s mother, Bobbie Brown. Something of a pin-up girl for the glam-rock movement since her feature on the cover of the sophomore album from Warrant a few decades ago, she and the band will feature in interspersed comedic vignettes throughout the film.

Taped in front of a small live audience, the musical portions of the film include the band performing acoustic versions of their most popular songs such as Party Like Tomorrow Is The End Of The World and Community Property, plus one new song titled Then You Came In. Accompanied by string musicians, it’s a chance to hear the band in a new light.

The album and film will be released on CD and CD/DVD by the band's label Open E Records via Kobalt on 26 February.
