Episode three is locked in!

Mushroom Group and the Victorian Government's The State Of Music concert series will return this weekend with some of the country's biggest names in music.

Aussie icon Paul Kelly has been confirmed for episode three, alongside a stacked bill that also features Tim Minchin, Courtney Barnett, Alex Lahey, Meg Mac, Mo'Ju, Vika & Linda Bull and Tim Freedman.

The show, which was launched this month in support of the state Government's Victoria Together initiative, will kick off from 7pm on Saturday.

“After the success of Music From The Home Front I’m thrilled to be a part of Premier Daniel Andrews’ and the Victorian Government’s vision to deliver Australian music into people’s lounge rooms each week," industry legend Michael Gudinski said when The State Of Music was announced earlier this month.

“Melbourne is one of the great music cities in the world and the leading music city in Australia. While we are currently unable to experience music in Victoria’s celebrated live venues this great initiative will play a part in ensuring our musicians and those that work in the music industry have a future.”
