Splendour In The GrassFestivals have come a long way since the heady days of just showing up at someone's farm and hoping for the best, and to make sure that no punter is left behind in their preparation for this year's Splendour In The Grass, the festival organisers have unveiled this year's trusty event app.
Available for both iOS and Android, the app is stuffed with handy information and features including stalwart fixtures such as the event line-up, a personal planner, ticket links, timetables, maps, news, FAQs and social media interaction.
New this year, however, is a pretty cool little collab with the Shazam app — using its top-right-corner camera button, hover over any of this year's festival posters or full-page street press advertisements to be taken to a sweet-ass mobile hub from which you can connect directly with Splendour's array of social channels and get your mitts on the festival app in one easy place.
Also fresh is the newly launched #STUCKONSPLENDOUR competition, which gives you and three of your mates a shot at tickets for the sure-to-sell-quickly 2016 festival. As it happens, all those little icons on this year's event artwork aren't just for looks — they also double as stickers you're able to whack on a pic snapped with the app's new Sticker Wall feature. Wait, so they're still for looks, but more broadly and interactively than expected.

From there, hop on Instagram, post your pic, hashtag #stuckonsplendour and tag in @splendourinthegrass for your chance to win. You'll want to make it good, because you can be sure other people will be making the most of this opportunity.
