One of our very many wonderful independent labels Spunk Records are on the lookout for a Label and Publicity Manager to play a big part in their operations, which includes releasing records by the likes of Joanna Newsom, Arcade Fire, Bonnie Prince Billy, My Morning Jacket, Sufjan Stevens, Antony and The Johnston's and Aussies like Jack Ladder, Holly Throsby, Bored Nothing and Henry Wagons.
They need someone with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, looking after things like production, marketing, promotions and artist relations. The successful applicant will liaise with media, write press releases, plan and execute promotional strategies and basically just make the label's artists and releases appear as appealing as they sound when put on the stereo.
