The only way to secure legitimate Splendour tickets
Missed out on Splendour tickets last month? Still having nightmares about that Green Room? Do the voices of Robert Smith and Julian Casablancas taunt you in your sleep?
Now's your chance to relieve your symptoms — the 2016 Splendour In The Grass resale facility opens today, along with a new vehicle pass system.
The resale facility opened today at 9am AEST through Moshtix (1300 438 849), and closes at midnight AEST Monday 18 July. This is the only place where you can purchase legitimate tickets, as Splendour tickets include the name and date of birth of the purchaser (which is checked against your ID at the festival gates).
A 3-Day Event Ticket is $375 per person + $7 booking fees, gaining entry to the event site Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. A Single Day Ticket is $159 per person + $6 booking fees, for either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. A Camping Ticket (Wednesday to Monday) is $120 per person + $5 booking fees.

Meanwhile, vehicle pass options for campers have changed for 2016. If you have already secured a Camping Ticket, you can either set up camp next to your rig, or go car-free in the tent only camping area.
The Car Pass is the vehicle pass for those with Camping Tickets who wish to camp with a car — including those bringing RVs, caravans camper trailers or the like. This is the only area of the campgrounds where you can sleep in or with your vehicle. However, if you are planning to leave early on the Monday after the event, you will be at the mercy of those parked around you. Car Passes are $60 including booking fees*, on sale today through Moshtix.
The Tent Pass is the vehicle pass for those with Camping Tickets who wish to camp without a car, or who have met the criteria to set up base in Camp Little Foot(print). Your car will be parked in the Tent Parking area, located close by to the Tent Only campgrounds. You will have more flexibility with your departure time on Monday morning, and you’ll be closer to the festival entrance. Tent Passes are $30 including booking fees*, on sale today through moshtix.
For both the Car and Tent Passes, a $30 redemption voucher available if you arrive with three or more passengers in the vehicle — all with valid 2016 Event and Camping tickets.
The Day Parking Pass is a vehicle pass for those with Event Only Tickets who wish to park at the North Byron Parklands day car park. The pre-purchased cost is $30 per day (Fri, Sat and Sun only). The Day Car Park will be open 10am – 2am on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
