Holy balls, this tour just took it to the next level
We were already pretty excited about Spiderbait's upcoming Ivy & The Big Apples tour kicking off in March and, with the announcement of their list of support acts, you can knock that buzz up a notch or several.
The veteran Aussie outfit have gathered a distinguished and distinctive cabal of mates to complement their tunes on the run, from modern-day darlings to veritable local legends.
With four shows lined up at Melbourne's Corner Hotel (three of which are sold out), crowds are in for some sweet variety from the likes of Bitch Diesel (first night), Grinding Eyes and Lazertits (second), The Cherry Dolls (third), and The Living Eyes and Jelly Mammoth (fourth), while The Meanies and Screamfeeder take over in Sydney, as do The Love Junkies and The Tommyhawks in Perth.
Back in the east, Screamfeeder rejoin the fray in Brisbane alongside Thigh Master, then it's up to Cairns for an outing with Charlie Rebel. Numbskulls do the job in Adelaide (first night) before Blush Response and Stabbitha & The Knifey Wifeys step up for the sold-out night two.

Finally, the whole thing comes to a halt in Tasmania, where Spiderbait round out their tour at the Granada Tavern with help from Bansheeland and Jax & The Wayward.
It's quite the list of acts; in fact, it's going to be quite the tour. That much is for certain.
Tickets for all shows — well, those that still have tickets to sell — are available now. All the details live in theGuide.
