Spicks & Specks Confirms New Team

Former Killing Heidi frontwoman Ella Hooper has been confirmed as a team captain for next year's return of ABC musical talent show Spicks & Specks, where she'll be joined by comedians Josh Earl, who'll host, and Adam Richard.

Last year the ABC confirmed to theMusic.com.au that the hit show would be returning with new as part of their 2014 program after the original team of Myf Warhurst, Adan Hills and Alan Brough called time on their stint.

The show has been commissioned for 20 episodes, with new games and segments as well as the return of some other spots.

New team captain Richard said today, “I am getting worried that my encyclopedic knowledge of Mariah Carey may not really be enough to cope with the curly questions coming my way on Spicks & Specks in 2014.”
