Music lovers in Ballarat are gearing up for a new festival in Sovereign Hill, with the inaugural Food, Fire & Light Festival unveiling its full music lineup.

Taking place across the weekends of October 11th and 12th, and October 18th and 19th, the nascent festival will feature four headline acts at Sovereign Hill’s new events precinct, with Andrew Loadsman’s unique solo pedal looping performance seeing him joined by DJ Marc Lucarelli for a dynamic and engaging experience on the 11th.

On the 12th, Umbra Moon will share a set full of their soulful and ambient pop stylings, while ROSWELL will blend French house, disco, and ambient electronica for their appearance on the 18th. Finally, Client Liaison’s Harvey Miller will close out festivities on the 19th with his solo project transporting attendees back to the golden age of Ibiza dance.

The premiere Food, Fire & Light Festival seeks to celebrate the role that fire played on the Ballarat goldfields by offering up a festival of the senses that combine music, culinary experiences, and visual spectacles throughout Sovereign Hill.

Alongside its music lineup, the festival will also offer a Valley Of Lights, featuring a visual installation by artist Richard Thomas; a waterfall pyrotechnics display dubbed Shimmering Falls; roving fire performers; silent cinema content with the Victoria Silhouette; and much more.

Tickets to the inaugural Food, Fire & Light Festival are on sale now, with each purchase also including a complimentary ticket to the Sovereign Hill museum which is valid from 10am to 5pm.
