Southbound Confirms More Acts
And are now taking submissions for two artist competitions
On the back of their very impressive first round announcement of acts, Southbound have confirmed more names for the 2014 festival, announcing the return of their Coconut Club stage.
Punters heading along to the Perth event will be able to get their dance on to the following local artists:
Anna Lunoe, Purple Sneakers DJs, Sosueme DJs, Tyler Touche, Boston Switch, Charlie Bucket, DJ Mandy Bubb with L.C.Drums, DJ Swami Adima, Frankie Button, The Housejunkie, Micah, Mutchy & LZ, Pussy Shoogah, Slumberjack
The January festival is now also taking submissions for their triple j Unearthed comp called Southbound Unearthed and another emerging talent bid Stagebound. For those wanting to apply for the triple j comp, head here before Monday 3 November. Stagebound hopefuls should submit their entries prior to next Wednesday 23 October.
Southbound, which will feature performances from the likes of Solange, Vampire Weekend, MGMT, Hermitude and more, will take place Friday 3 and Saturday 4 January.
In other Perth news, voting is still open for the public-voted WAM Awards 2013 - click here now to cast your vote. The awards, which are presented by The Music, will take place at the Astor Theatre on Friday 8 November.
