Only an hour before the second announcement was posted, festival promoter AJ Maddah revealed in a tweet that the festival “will have a few internationals left over for the 3rd announcement!”. When asked by a fan via Twitter about what the third announcement would look like, Maddah informed them that it would be “Mostly locals.” This could mean fans will see the reportedly confirmed Australian acts King Parrot, Dollarosa and The Bennies on the third announcement.

We have all the latest information on rumored third announcement bands below:
When asked about the much-awaited Swedish glam metal group Crashdiet, who were expected for the first announcement and then cancelled after the loss of the group’s manager, Maddah said that “at this point they either be on 3rd announcement or not!”
Slipknot drummer, Joey Jordison‘s project Scar The Martyr, whom Jordison himself hinted would be playing Soundwave, are merely “a possibility” according to Maddah.
“Are there any plans on bringing Deaf Havana back soon?” one curious fan of the Norfolk alternative rock act queried, with the promoter responding with an enthusiastic “Yes!”
Brisbane locals, Dollarosa put their name in the hat when Call The Shots were tempararily pulled from the Warped line up, Maddah then advised "You're likely for SW14 local spot"
Make Them Suffer are a possibility for the third announcement, with Maddah saying he’s “Trying to get MTS on to the bill. Not sure if it’ll be possible"
No luck for Black Sabbath, Godsmack, Forever The Sickest Kids, Dream Theatre, Bloodhound Gang, System Of A Down, Darkest Hour, Smoking Hearts, Skin and co & Young Guns fans, with all of them being ruled out by AJ in various posts.
Maddah has been hard at work answering non-stop fan questions, revealing that fans can expect the Soundwave 2014 timetables in early January, “I usually do the times for SW over Christmas break, so early Jan". If that's anything to go by, we should be expecting the final announcements to take place before the christmas period.
